Notes on the music[]

The music within the movie represents how the characters are feeling at that time of the movie. The music puts emotional value in what the audience is watching.

Instruments in the Score[]

Throughout the movie, the music reflects the feelings of Raymond and Charlie. Most of the movie is based around 80's music. This includes the use of synthesizers and the most common 80's instrument, the electronic keyboard. With the use of the repeated riffs, it shows how Raymond sees the world around him, repeating certain things over and over. With the repeated riffs there is also the mix of loud drum sounds, such as in the Las Vegas scence, and also promotes the sadness of Raymond leaving Charlie in the end credits.
